Group Lessons consist of up to 4 students with similar skill levels & goals. Connect with others here to form groups with compatible interests, time-zones & availabilities. You can then use the UFX messenger to chat privately (or move to Facebook for group chats if needed). Once you establish your group and a time frame that works for everyone, each member will need to order their lesson credits and fill out the registration questionnaire. Then someone in the group can message facebook.com/UnifiedExtreme to schedule with me, relaying the names of group mates & the time frame settled on.
For more information please read the "GROUP LESSONS" tab on the Lessons page.
Recommended details:
· Name
· Estimated Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional)
· Vocal Influences & Goals (ex. some favourite bands, styles of vocals you want to master)
· Country + Time-zone (ex. GMT-7)
· Availability (ex. Monday-Friday, 4pm-8pm)
Estimated Skill Level:
I suggest sharing skill level so lessons can be synchronized for your benefit. The process is relatively similar for everyone (hence the universal approach) but for example, advanced vocalists will move much quicker through the exercises than others. Beginner & intermediate vocalists can generally group together - primary exercises are thorough, and in some cases, beginners may pick up the fundamentals faster than certain intermediate vocalists. (Usually this is because of needing to unlearn bad habits to achieve relaxed distortion – which is all good and everyone has their process)! Groups can be diverse and still just as impactful as 1-on-1 lessons. I just want to maximize the value you’re getting for your time and money.
Vocal Influences & Goals:
Be as descriptive as you want here. Favourite bands and specific vocal styles you’re drawn to would be good to list. In general, you want to connect with others that are looking to learn similar things, so we can keep our discussions & perspectives focused on your goals. However, it should be noted that the first 3 lessons or so we’ll be going over all the same fundamentals + overtone & distortion exercises, which give us the power and stability to branch out into any specific style. So even if you don’t have the same end goals as your group mates, you will still receive excellent value.
Availability:
I recommend posting your ideal lesson window, along with your Country & Time-zone, so time differences can be calculated. However, once you find others to group with, you can decide on a time organically. Soon, I will integrate a self-booking calendar system so you guys can just find a time that works best and claim it.
For example:
My name is Jeff, I'm a beginner vocalist, and my favourite bands are Whitechapel and Chelsea Grin. I want to learn how to do low range "false cord" screams as well as highs. I live in Vermont, USA and my time zone is GMT-4. I am available to schedule lessons Monday-Friday from 4-8pm my time. I'm excited to connect and learn with you guys!
